In 2005, Christine Sproat and now-husband/co-owner of Canyon Kids, Mike Hiscock, rafted the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. Despite rattlesnakes, scorpions, and class 10 rapids, they survived but knew they had to bring this adventure home with them.
Christine and Mike teamed up with Diane Lewis, a speech therapist, to create Canyon Kids Occupational Therapy, hoping to make it a place where kids could challenge their potential and not feel different from any other child. Canyon Kids was founded in 2008 to become a place for children to climb to their greatest potential in a warm, caring, and fun-loving environment.
Now we are a group of therapists providing care to hundreds of children and families!
