Canyon Kids offers various measures in which we are able to assess your child’s needs for therapeutic services. We possess both standardized and non-standardized assessments and screenings that can aid in determining areas in which occupational therapy can help your child.
Screenings
Schedule a free developmental screening with one of our OT’s to meet us! This is a good way to determine if your child could benefit from an OT Evaluation. The screening is 30 minutes in length and consists of fine motor, gross motor and sensory motor skills that are developmentally appropriate for your child. Our OT’s will discuss with you any recommendations for further therapy intervention or ideas that you can try at home. Please contact us at 301 523 0902 or screening@canyonkids.com.
Canyon Kids provides screening programs to local preschools and schools in the DC area. Please contact Christine at Christine@canyonkids.com to set up a screening program at your school.
